What we store
If you sign in, we store your email address and your progress: experience, streaks, best scores and how well you know each square and opening line. Guests can play without us storing anything.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and nothing for tracking or advertising. Your board colours and sound setting are kept in your own browser.
We only email you the sign-in links you ask for. They're sent through our email provider and expire after 15 minutes.
Where it lives, and leaving
The site and its database run on a server hosted by Hetzner in the United States (Ashburn, Virginia). To have your account and progress deleted, email hello@e4e5nf3.com.
